Welcome—I’m Glad You’re Here
Therapy is most transformative when you are ready to look inward, gain insight, and actively shape the next chapter of your life.
As a Licensed Psychologist in British Columbia (CHCPBC #1014605) with over two decades of clinical experience beginning in 2000, I work with individuals who are deeply committed to “doing the work”—those ready to understand their evolving selves, navigate significant life changes, and create meaningful, lasting well-being.
My Areas of Focus
While grounded in my broad foundation as a clinical generalist, my practice is deeply focused on supporting individuals through midlife, health shifts, and personal evolution, with a continued appreciation for cultural context:
-
Women’s Health & Perimenopause: Navigating the psychological, emotional, and physical complexities of hormonal transitions and midlife health.
-
Intersectionality & Multicultural Identity: Supporting individuals, including recent immigrants and international communities, as they navigate the rich intersections of culture, migration, belonging, and identity.
-
Identity & Life Transitions: Reframing sense of self, roles, relationships, and bodily changes as your life evolves.
-
Mind-Body Integration: Working through the emotional ripple effects of physiological health changes and internal stress.
Therapeutic Approach
We are complex, multicultural beings living in constantly changing times, and therapeutic growth is never one-size-fits-all. Drawing from over 25 years in the field—including direct therapy, intercultural communication teaching, and group facilitation—I integrate an evidence-based, holistic approach tailored to your unique narrative:
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — To help process underlying distress, life transitions, or stored stress patterns held in the nervous system.
-
Somatics & Focusing — To tune into body-based wisdom.
-
Cognitive Behavioural Approaches — To address shifting thought patterns, mood, and stress management.
-
Interpersonal Therapy — To explore how changing life stages impact your relationships and boundaries.
-
Mindfulness — To cultivate presence, clarity, and self-compassion during times of change.
